Top 30 Splegg

The general Legend Status list was shaped by input from quite a few different players — mainly older-generation ones — and is generally regarded as the most defensible ranking in the doc. The rest of the lists were mostly just Ezkimo's own opinion.

When Shaxd published it, it received a lot of backlash and was widely considered extremely inaccurate — especially anywhere outside the Legend Status list. It quickly became a community meme as a result. It also had a real effect on the scene: Splegg power-rankings lists became a lot more popular community-wide afterward, though no single list was ever taken fully seriously again — people generally agreed that eras are hard to compare directly, and that Splegg skill still had (and has) room to keep improving.

The first version of the list was put together by hand. In December 2019 the process was automated, via an app Jakubusso built for Shaxd.

Individual rankings below carry the source doc's own "1 December 2018" internal date stamp and reflect its numbering at that time.
